For the sixth in our popular Green Books series, we are delighted to be joined by Rob Hopkins, who will be talking to Paul Hannam about his new book: “From What Is to What If: Unleashing the Power of Imagination to Create the Future We Want”
It’s on Thursday 1 July at 7.30-8.30pm. Tickets are available by clicking the button below.
About the Book
According to the Times Educational Supplement:
“This important book cements what most of us hope for: for everything to be okay – and not just now, in the present. He offers us a future that most aspire to: a future in which communities and environments blossom, political furore and the words “Brexit” and “Covid” no longer loom over our society, education is no longer all about exam results and, most significantly, people work together for the common good.
What, however, is most extraordinary about his book is that Hopkins doesn’t just present us with this utopian ideal. He puts forward an array of examples, case studies and evidence that show that this ideal is achievable. Much of what is needed to achieve this is already being done around the world, but only in small pockets of communities, industries and educational sectors.
From What Is to What If is a call to action to reclaim and unleash our collective imagination, told through the stories of individuals and communities around the world who are doing it now, as we speak, and witnessing often rapid and dramatic change for the better.”
