Need help in cutting your energy bills?

With the recent 54% increase in the energy price cap, domestic energy bills are a real cause for concern for many. The Home Energy Helpdesk is designed to help by offering practical assistance on how to save energy costs and trim your carbon footprints.

After a successul trial run in February 2022, we will be running the Helpdesk once a month at the same time and place as the Repair Café.  We’ve booked a meeting room at the back of Beeding & Bramber Village Hall to provide a quiet spot for a chat.

We’ll have a team of volunteers there to talk over your own situation, and what energy saving steps might be practical for you.

Come along for:

  • A friendly chat about how you can save energy at home
  • Tips on how to cut your fuel bills
  • Suggestions on where to start with draught-proofing, insulation, solar energy, heat pumps and more
  • Info on what grants are available

Our Helpdesk team will be there to help, and provide useful pointers on where to go next.  They’ll be offering information and suggestions rather than professional advice.

The service is entirely free, though you might like to drop a small donation in Repair Café bucket as you leave.

Click the button below to book a slot.   Or you can just turn up on the day and speak to one our our volunteers.
