Join us for a special online screening of the uplifting film ‘2040’.
This is a in inspiring and uplifting film on what the future could look like if we act now, by talented New Zealand director Damon Gameau.
2040 provides practical suggestions on how we can get on top of the climate crisis. In it, award-winning director Damon Gameau embarks on a journey to explore what the future could look like by the year 2040 if we embrace the best solutions already available to us to improve our planet and shifted them rapidly into the mainstream.
Structured as a letter to his 4-year-old daughter, Damon blends traditional documentary with dramatised sequences and high-end visual effects to create a convincing vision of how these solutions could regenerate the world for future generations.

The official screening time is 7.30pm on Tuesday 27th October. But in fact we have access for two days before and after that, finishing at 10pm on Thursday 29th. So you can pick your time to watch it.
We are asking for donations to cover the costs of putting on the film screening – a figure of £3 per person is suggested. But if you’d like to chip in a bit more to help support the 2030 Project that would be great!
