Warmer homes and greener energy for all

Greening Steyning’s Homes and Energy Action Group are looking at ways of helping local residents to make their homes more energy efficient, and to really get going in scaling up the local production of clean, renewable energy.

We’ve worked successfully with local organisations such as Upper Beeding Village Hall to advise and support their move toward susatainable energy choices. We have also advised numerous home owners at our Helpdesk, and produced a range of online resources and videos linked below to help you get started in making your home greener and more eco-friendly.  Read on to find out more.

Home Energy Helpdesk

Would you like some friendly practical advice on how to save energy at home? If so, why not come along to the Home Energy Helpdesk.

It takes place at the Upper Beeding Village Hall every second Saturday of the month from 2-4pm – the same time as the Repair Café, and is entirely free.

Find out more and  book a place here.

We appreciate that not everyone can make it to the Repair Café, where our regular face-to-face consultations happen.

So we have also created an online version of the Helpdesk.  You can sign up online and ask for one of our Helpdesk team to get in touch by email to fix a time to speak with you – either by phone, via Zoom, or by meeting in person.

Find out more and complete the contact form here.
